The International Congress Center Stuttgart (ICS)
currently ranks among the top 4 most attractive congress centers in
Germany, regarding facilities, positioning, technology and interior
design. Particularly striking: the unique glass architecture. According
to Stefan Lohnert, CEO of ICS, the center with its clear elegance is “an
ideal platform for medium- to large-sized medical and scientific
congresses in general.” Not only conferences, exhibitions and trade
fairs are among the core competencies of this venue, but also annual
corporate meetings.
There is ample room offering a
great variety of possible spatial usage: The flexible surface concept of
the ICS allows for a great diversity of event concepts and can be
subdivided into variable modules. There are 33 conference rooms with
approx. 10,000 seats, and all of them are Brunner products. This time,
the architects chose linos, the versatile sled-base chair. A chair for
large rooms with its convincingly factual, elegant form – a chair which
of course also fulfills all functional demands, thanks to its high
seating comfort and easy handling. Nearly 6,500 linos chairs are
deployed here, 2,000 of which are custom-made, featuring the weaved-in
logo of the Stuttgart trade fair. Additionally, there are about 3,500 primo chairs, with new color-adapted upholstery for seats and back rests.
In the recently constructed administrative wing, the Congress Center also counts on Brunner – in an even more open and colorful fashion. The offices offer areas for stand-up meetings, perfectly fitted with plaza, meet, milanolight and cross. Particularly inviting: the recreational areas on the respective floors: communication and relaxation with milanolight, meet and cross.
