Putting sustainability into practice

What Brunner is doing for the environment.

Here at Brunner, we are drivers of innovation and are actively helping to shape the future of the contract furniture sector. We are a family-owned company and feel a responsibility towards the generations who will follow us. That is why we act sustainably and responsibly in all areas of our work, conserving resources wherever possible, to achieve long-lasting "Made in Germany" quality. We do this partly by relying on a trinity of regional partnerships, forward-looking technologies and high-quality materials. This includes sourcing local wood from sustainable forests and using innovative recycled plastics and cover fabrics.

Our functional designer furniture is designed with sustainability in mind right from the start: practically seamless designs and easy-care surfaces mean less cleaning agents are needed, which is good for the environment. The majority of our product range has a modular design. If they become damaged, many elements can simply be replaced and, once they do reach the end of their long life cycle, products can then be recycled.

We manufacture according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 using the latest environmentally sound technologies, which guarantee economical processes that conserve resources – and driven in part by green power generated by our in-house photovoltaic system.

Our commitment to sustainability has been given numerous official seals of approval (GS certificates, Öko-Tex, TÜV test mark, etc.).

You will find our environmental product declarations clearly listed in the download centre under each item of contract furniture or on the corresponding product details page on our website.
