Use of Google-Analytics with Anonymisation Function

This website uses functions from the web analysis service Google Analytics. The operator of this service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files stored on your computer to allow analysis to take place of how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie relating to your use of this website is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Article 6 (1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour to optimise both its website and advertising.

IP Anonymisation
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. As a result, your IP address will be truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will complete IP addresses be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website so that website activity reports can be compiled and other services relating to website and internet usage can be provided to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of the Google Analytics system will not be matched with any other data held by Google.

Browser Plugin
You have the choice of preventing cookies from being saved by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. However, we would like to point out that this may prevent the full use of all functions on this website. Additionally, you can also prevent the gathering of data by Google that has been generated by cookies and relates to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the dissemination of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:

Objecting to the collection of data
You can prevent Google Analytics collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is then stored on your device that prevents your data being collected when visiting our website in the future: deactivate Google Analytics.
Further information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy:

Outsourced data processing
We have contracted Google to conduct our data processing. We also fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic characteristics with Google Analytics
This website uses the Demographics and Interest Reports function from Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated containing statements about age, gender and the interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and visitor data from third parties. This data cannot be attributed to any specific individual. You can deactivate this feature at any time by adjusting the ads settings in your Google account or by prohibiting the collection of data by Google Analytics as outlined in the section “Objecting to the collection of data”.

Google Analytics Remarketing
Our websites use the features of Google Analytics Remarketing in connection with cross-device capabilities of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. This service is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
The function enables the targeted audiences created by Google Analytics Remarketing to be linked to the cross-device capabilities of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalised advertising messages based on previous usage and surfing behaviour on one device (e.g. your mobile phone) can be displayed on other devices (e.g. your tablet or PC).
Once you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history with your Google account. This means that you will receive the same personalised advertising messages on every device on which you are logged into your Google account.
To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create target audiences for cross-device advertising.
You can permanently opt out of cross-device remarketing/targeting by turning off personalised ads in your Google account. To do so, simply follow this link:

The aggregation of the data collected in your Google Account takes place solely on the basis of your consent, which you may give or withdraw from Google as per Article 6 (1)(a) of the GDPR. With regard to data collection operations not merged into your Google account (because, for instance, you do not have a Google account or have objected to the merge), the collection of data is based on Article 6 (1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing the behaviour of anonymous website visitors for promotional purposes.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).
As part of Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is placed. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can tell that the user clicked on the ad and was forwarded to that page.
Each Google AdWords advertiser has a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked using the website of an AdWords advertiser. The information obtained with the aid of the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for the AdWords advertisers who have chosen to use conversion tracking. Advertisers are able to find out the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. They receive no information, however, that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can opt-out by simply disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie in the user settings of your internet browser. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
Conversion cookies are stored on the basis of Article 6 (1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour to optimise both its website and advertising.
Further information on Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking can be found in Google’s privacy policy:
You can configure your browser to inform you when a cookie is being placed allowing you to decide upon its use on an individual basis. Alternatively, you can configure your browser to allow them under specific circumstances or to always reject them, or to always delete them when closing your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

If you would like to receive the newsletter which we offer on our website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the stated email address and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No additional data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and will not pass it on to third parties.
Processing the data entered in the newsletter subscription form takes place only with your consent in compliance with Article 6 (1)(a) of the GDPR. You may, at any time, withdraw your consent to the storage of your data and email address, and to its use for sending the newsletter by, for instance, clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to this point remain unaffected by such a withdrawal.
The data which you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored on our system until you unsubscribe from the newsletter at which point the data will be deleted. Data stored on our system for other purposes, such as email addresses for the membership sector, remain unaffected.

Based on the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (German Federal Data Protection Act), you may contact us free of charge with any questions about the collection, processing or use of you personal data as well as their correction, blocking, deletion or a revocation of a given consent.
