The Work Project

Singapore, 2022.

Award-winning co-working provider sets new standards in workplace design.

The Work Project from Singapore is renowned worldwide for its innovative workspaces. Co-working spaces are currently available at 12 locations, including Singapore, Hong Kong and Sydney. The award-winning workspaces can be used for private meetings or larger conferences. Luxurious design and hotel-like furnishings of the highest quality are the hallmarks of the premises.

Since its foundation in 2016, the timeless and inspiring designs have already been included in the Forbes list of the “5 Most Beautiful Co-Working Spaces in the World” and in the list of the “20 Best Co-Working Spaces Across the Globe” by the Huffington Post. The newest location not only offers a central location in the heart of the metropolis of Singapore, but also features a spectacular direct panoramic view of the Singapore River. In total, the plot provides space for 900 flexible and modular workspaces split across three floors.

The new co-working space has been designed in collaboration with the Matthew Shang Design Office. During this process, the interior designers were inspired by the commercial and industrial history of the river, as well as the building façade and materials.

The colours and materials of the exterior façade, which is made of red granite and ochre stone, are reflected in the interior design. Traditional design with neutral and muted colours meets unique materials. Mosaic-style stone floors and abstract carpets provide a homely yet professional ambiance.

Conference tables from the ray table series with warm, natural wood finishes create a wonderful contrast to the elegant burgundy leather upholstery of the chairs from the same collection. Exclusive electrification options and invisible cable guide rails in the table legs simplify media integration end ensure quick access to presentations.

In addition to the ray collection, additional products are used to provide a modern workplace design. This includes conference tables and chairs from the fina series, the hoc bar stool, the mudra shell chair, the cellular work and lounge system, and chairs from the nate and crona collections as well as pads and A - Bench.
