Interdisciplinary Tumour Centre (ITC) – University Hospital of Freiburg

Freiburg, Germany, 2019

After almost four years of construction, early May 2019 saw the opening of the new University Hospital of Freiburg's Interdisciplinary Tumour Centre (ITC).

The new building is spread over a floor space of around 6400 square metres and five floors. It represents part one of the University Hospital of Freiburg's structural development plan under which multiple new hospital buildings are set to be created in the so-called construction area II. The new ITC brings together inpatients and outpatients from the various oncology centres, the oncology and haematology clinic and the Comprehensive Cancer Center under one roof and is therefore the central point of contact for all tumour patients at the University Hospital of Freiburg.

A variety of different Brunner furniture is in use in the multifunctional building, including furniture from the A and crona collections, banc, break, hoc, linos, taceo, torino, wellano, 4less and 6000 series tables.
