MILAN DESIGN WEEK, 17.-23. April 2023 – and Brunner is at the heart of the action! Italy's capital city of fashion and industrial design transforms into a melting pot of creativity, visions, inspirations and talented contacts. The perfect location for presenting innovative ideas – or new collaborations. We're doing both. At Via Marco Formentini 10 in the vibrant Brera design district, we are proud to present the result of a highly promising collaboration with Swiss architecture and design studio atelier oï: foild. This lightweight, flexible screen opens up entirely new possibilities.

"Right from the start, we liked the transdisciplinary approach atelier oï takes when approaching topics and materials and developing new ideas. This stance leads to new ideas, shapes them and allows all those involved to be creative. This allowed something unique and exceptional to emerge. It was magical."
"Instead of having a briefing, we brainstormed: 'What do current workplace trends require? How can we respond to this?' This went back and forth, with both sides contributing. That's how the foild concept was created."
The user can create the ideal hideaway or zone the open space with the foild room divider in just a few simple steps: the sophisticated scissor frame extends uniformly to the optimal length – in a straight line, a gentle curve, or a wave. The integrated curtain protects both sides from prying eyes, adds a splash of colour and enhances the sound and ambience. When folded, foild impresses with its compact dimensions. This saves space – opening up even more possibilities.
We will present the first prototypes of the new furniture that unfolds spaces as required but reduces back down when no longer needed in our showroom during Milan Design Week.
